The lid also has many uses: not only does it protect the contents of the facility from dust or pests, it will also help you collect components cut from your cutting board for further cooking or storage. Alternatively, you can place kitchen utensils on it that you use while cooking to keep your work surface clean. The lid also stands vertically on the handle of the fixture and does not interfere with you during work.
Do you make home compost? Use a coffee scraper, eggshell or fruit, and vegetable peeler to add to your garden's compost pile.
Another tip: Collect the vegetable peels that accumulate in the facility during the week and transfer them to a bag or storage container in the refrigerator. At the end of the week, add water and spices of your choice to the peels, and after boiling, cook for about half an hour. At the end of cooking, strain the liquid, and you have delicious and nutritious vegetable stock.
