Mini Microwave Rice Maker 550ml
Description
Ideal for a single serving of oats, rice, pap, noodles and more. This year cooking for 1 is fun in the microwave.
• Ideal for a single serving of oats, rice, pap, noodles and more.
• Just fill the ingredients, close securely and place in the microwave. No need to check, to stir or change the power setting mid-way. As you can serve in it too, there will be less washing-up to do..
• The Rice Maker features a unique double cover that breaks and collects foam created during cooking into the inside chambers, redirects the excess moisture onto the doughnut shaped recess and drains it back into the main dish. Your microwave stays clean and safe from spills.
• The assembly instructions are conveniently etched on to the Insert.
• Solid locking handle and ribs ensure a safe grip.
Cooking guidelines:
- Timing and water level should be adjusted according to grain type, microwave power setting and desired moisture.
- Respect maximum fill line. Do not exceed these quantities to avoid boil-over.
- Simply fill the grains and then add water. (Refer to Printed Manual/Digital Manual for recommended amount of water depending on rice quantity)
- Refer to drawing on separator insert for correct assembly. Make sure to place the separator insert on the base with the 2 small handles side up.
- Before closing the cover, make sure the handles of the cover are perfectly aligned with the handles of the base. Press the cover down to close.
For best results:
- When cooking rice, always rinse it unless otherwise stated on the packaging.
- Add cold water.
- If you wish to add salt before cooking, calculate 2 to 4 minutes of additional cooking time for a
teaspoon of salt when the base is filled with 300ml of rice. - Allow cooked rice to stand for at least 5 minutes before serving.
- Fluff the rice after cooking with a non-scratching Tupperware utensil.
For your satisfaction and safety, follow these precautions:
- Use the cooking guidelines as stated in the Printed Manual/Digital Manual.
- Do not cook rice or other grains at any time without water.
- Do not add any fat or oil in the water or use liquid with fat content such as milk. The Rice Maker is not suitable for making risotto, dessert rice or semolina.
- Always lift the seal away from you so the steam does not burn your fingers.
- Contents will be hot after cooking. Use oven gloves when handling.
- To avoid staining, we do not recommend adding saffron, curry or other coloring spices to the rice or reheating tomato or curry-based foods. Staining will not affect the performance of the product and is not covered by the Tupperware guarantee.
- Always rinse the container in cold water immediately after use to help prevent strong food smells or stains. All components are dishwasher safe.
